Terms & Conditions

  1. All prices are exclusive of VAT

  2. Prices are fixed for 3 months unless stated otherwise

  3. Payment terms are 30 days from the date of invoice unless stated otherwise. When working with new client, at the discretion of Bright Flooring Solutions Ltd as to whether a deposit Is required before commencement of work on site.

  4. Bright Flooring Solutions Ltd reserves the right to levy a surcharge of £225 per day per man if the client changes the installation date within 7 days of the agreed date.

  5. Cancellations charges apply after a start date is agreed. The charges are for the cost of materials as our materials are non-refundable to our suppliers. Cancellation within 7 days of starting date will require full payment of the agreed quote and is down to the discretion of the director of BrightFlooring Solutions Ltd.

  6. All goods remain property of Bright Flooring Solutions until paid for in full.

  7. If you fail to pay us on agreed date we may;
    a. Charge you interest at the rate set under S.6 of the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (interest) Act 1999.
    b. Calculated (on a daily basis) from the date of our invoice until payment.
    c. Compounded on the first day of each month.
    d. Before and after judgement (unless a court orders otherwise).
    e. Claim fixed sum compensation from you under S.5A of that Act to cover our credit control overhead cost.
    f. Recover (under clause 5.8) the cost of taking legal action to make you pay.

  8. Costs are subject to verification of site re-measure where applicable

  9. Our quotation includes work detailed only. Any changes or additions to the description will be charged for accordingly

  10. Our quotation is based on clear areas only unless stated otherwise. Although we will be pleased to help with or around heavy objects, this must be a prior arrangement otherwise a further labour charge may be made. Bright Flooring Solutions Ltd accepts no responsibility for damage to property not moved or during moving.

  11. The client is responsible for re-routing of all cables, wires etc. that may run across the sub-floor before installation of the new floor. If this prevents an installation proceeding on a booked installation date, this could incur a cancellation charge or waiting time charge. Bright Flooring Solutions Ltd accepts no responsibility for damage to wires, cables etc. during installation.

  12. Orders are subject to written confirmation and signature to these terms and conditions

  13. On completion of floor installation, the client or site representative will sign off the work
    a. Once sign off has occurred you are agreeing to the satisfaction of the work completed.
    b. If there are any disputes with the work carried out the work must not be signed off
    c. Sign off is at client’s discretion. Any damages or marks found in the floor that have been caused by the Fitter will only be rectified if pointed out to the fitter before the client has signed off work, any damages noticed after this time i.e. the following day, will be assumed to be the fault of the client and will not be rectified.

  14. Bright Flooring Solutions Ltd will make recommendations upon site visit, if recommendations are not followed we take no responsibility for life span of the floor.

  15. Bright Flooring Solutions Ltd takes no responsibility for defects in sub floors whether existing or developing after installation of the floor covering.

  16. Bright Flooring Solutions Ltd reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.

By accepting a quote or instructing us to carry out works means you have agrees to our terms and conditions.
